Jordans or Dunks, which one do you prefer?
There has been a very strong debate amongst me and my fellow sneaker heads as to which shoe is better. Air Jordans or Nike Dunks. What determines the better shoe to me is comfort, style, color variety, and durability. I am a Dunks man myelf but I do enjoy some Retro Jordans also. You will find this to be the same with other sneaker lovers. Once you like Jordans you most naturally like Dunks and vice versa. In my opinion the Dunks are leading in every category but one, style. The style of the Dunk never changes. The only thing that changes is the color layout or the texture but for the most part it reamains the same. Air Jordans are great shoes dont get me wrong but the only ones that will ever get any attention from me are the Retros, preferably the ones that came out while Micheal was still playing. The Dunks have a larger variety of colors and I tend to like more Dunks than I do Air Jordans. Dunks are more comfortable than Air Jordans by a long shot. When you put your feet in Dunks it feels like you are almost not wearing anything. Another plus for the Dunk is that the first Air Jordans ever were red, black and white Dunks. You just gotta love them! This is just my opinion. Comment and let me know how you feel.

I am not a big fan of either sneakers so I don't have a preference. Nice job on your article.
ReplyDeleteI prefer Jordans, i don't wear any of them but if when i get kids, i will be buying jordans. He is a legend and i prefered him when he was the best in his day
ReplyDeleteTrue Dunks do have more of a variety of colors and Jordans doesn't, but at the end of the day i love both. When purchasing sneakers i look for different styles and colors.

ReplyDeleteI am not sure if I am going to be of much help here, I don't like sneakers at all. I rather wear flip flops. If this is of any help to you my son has Jordan in almost all the colors, you know how you guys are, you all just can't have one.
ReplyDeleteWith Michael Jordan being my all time favorite basketball player I have no choice but to be a little biased on this one. My vote is for Jordans...his name and legacy has great marketing appeal.

ReplyDeleteWell my boy, i am not a Sneaker fanatic i love Jordans and especially the retros when he was playing, but to me if its in my size and colour I rock it and i break dem bad boys in. but i never compared the two but because i love M.J so much i would be bias even though some of the latest stuff the past few years were to much of a stretch for me.... you must debate with my room mate he loves sneakers BAD!!!
ReplyDeleteListen the only criteria I look for in sneakers (for myself) is "cute" or "not cute", "do I have an outfit to match this or not". As for my kids "name" .. I know how cruel kids can be so I make sure they have the BEST!

ReplyDeletewell am not a weraer of these 'name brands', so i can't deliberate between the two. however, i would lend my support in stating that the qualities you have listed, like color, comfort and style are key characteristics of choosing the better or best shoe type.
